The Full Story

Raised on vinyl was formed in 2009 by founding member lead vocalist Lane Hannigan.

Lane's intention was to bring "blue collar American hard rock" back to the music scene! 

 

Guitar virtuoso Stefan Brigati was enlisted in 2011.  Later that year, Lane and Stefan brought in session player Claudio Giovanni on bass to hold down the rhythm section.

The newest member, on percussion,  Bob "Bash" Sickels was brought in to complete the  avant-garde rock act.

 

 Winning local awards such as the Ventura County Music Awards Best music video in 2018, Best New Song in 2019,  and Best Rock Band in 2020.

 

 Since the global pandemic , Raised On Vinyl has been in the studio, writing and recording new material for their upcoming singles release, and polishing their new stage show.

Lane Hannigan 

Lead vocals, Rhythm Guitar, founding member, contractor by day,rockstar by night.  Born and raised on the East Coast. He learned how to play the guitar  as an early teen and was immediately drawn to rock and roll.  Moved to California in the early 80's  created his own sound that forges through into Raised On Vinyl !

 

Stefan Brigati 

 Backing vocals, and Guitar extraordinaire. Stefan realized his love for music at the age of five when he discovered Ace Frehley of KISS and began to teach himself to play guitar where he eventually moved on to study at MIT (Musicians Institute of Technology) and Berklee music school. He quickly became known as a ferocious guitar player and was part of multiple bands.  and projects. He has now joined Raised On Vinyl where he brings his unique style to everything he does !

 

Claudio Giovanni 

Growing up as a military brat has lived in many places ending up in Texas as a young teen. Learn how to play the bass guitar found himself in California in the '80s playing in a few bands  over the years and then ended up  joining Raised On Vinyl and brings his heavy bottom end to fatten out the rhythm section 

 

Bob “Bash” Sickels 

 Started playing drums at age of 12. Bash has played in multiple bands in Hollywood and L.A.

Bob is known for his hard-hitting style and fast paced rhythms. His influences are 80's heavy metal bands. He plays pearl drums, Sabian cymbals and Loves pork chops!
